365 Project: Day 112-Easter Eggs
Dyeing Easter eggs for Easter Sunday--we had to get the whole family involved!
365 Project: Day 111-No Skinny Girl?
With Mom and Dad in town, we needed to stock up on Skinny Girl. We stopped by the local liquor store only to find out it is on backorder for at least a month and the whole town was out...Yikes! We called Mike in IN to have him check the grocery on the way out of town..he found 6 bottles! After some miscommunication with Jason, who was in a town an hour away, and only got the message that we were out and not that we had found some, got 4 bottles up there. So, we are now well stocked on Skinny Girl! Yay!
365 Project: Day 109-Poor Lucky Ball
So, technically, I missed taking a picture this day but this one is from later in the week and it definitely deserves it's own day. Tate loves his basketball. We are constantly telling him if it goes in the street and a car is coming, don't go chasing the ball into the street. Mom and Dad had just gotten into town from their drive from IN and Dad and Tate were outside playing basketball. The garbage truck drove by and Tate stopped to wave, the ball then goes into the street, which, he did what he had been told and stayed on the side. The garbage truck backs up and runs over the ball. It sounded like a shot gun. We heard it from inside the house and didn't think anything of it knowing the garbage truck was outside until we heard Tate crying. His lucky ball, which he calls it, had been run over. Poor little guy..you would have thought he had had this ball his whole life not the whole 2 months since Jason had gotten it for him. So off to Dick's, Papaw and Tate went for the exact same ball and an additional Jordan ball which made him a much happier boy. The lucky ball wasn't so lucky!

365 Project: Day 108-Lip Smackers
Maren loves her Lip Smackers and I have to say I love them too! The Easter flavors make you want to eat them..Sugar Cookie Icing, Orange Creme Egg, and Easter Cake! Yum!
365 Project: Day 107-Carrot Patch
Maren and I made little carrot patches for her bunnies with sugar wafers, crushed oreos in chocolate icing, orange Mike and Ike's and a little green gummy. Too cute but glad I only had to make 3!
365 Project: Day 105-Snakes and Reptiles
Tate is obsessed right now with snakes and reptiles. He spent the entire Saturday morning looking them up on the computer and really would like one in the well outside his window. He and Jason went to Petsmart and checked out the geckos. Maybe if he saves his money....

365 Project: Day 104-Look familiar
This would be the title of the email and picture I got emailed to me on Friday from our neighbor, Wesley, in San Antonio! A picture of our old yard and a glass of wine that we shared in the evenings many, many times! Thanks, Wesley!
365 Project: Day 103-After a long day...
After a long day of work, picking up kids from their respective schools, changing and running across town to soccer practice then back home to grab a late, late dinner that usually consists of easy scrambled eggs and toast, do homework, bath and off to bed, this is about the only picture to come out of the day...walking into our kitchen from the garage after cleaning out the car from the aftermath of the earlier described day! Whew!
365 Project: Day 102-Some SA Favorites
No grocery store can compare to HEB in San Antonio so while we were visiting, we stocked up...minus the Rudy's BBQ sauce which can only from Rudy's. Needless to say, I miss being able to get these essentials on a weekly basis! *HEB Raspberry Chipotle Sauce (over cream cheese) with mini crackers , Tomato and Alfredo Spaghetti Sauce, Salt Lick Salsa and HEB Trail mix in the snack bags*

365 Project: Day 101-Cricut
My new toy...a Cricut cutting machine for my scrapbooks. It cuts letters out with different fonts and different objects depending on the cartridge. The kids are loving too and spend at least an hour cutting out dragonflys, spiders and castles.
365 Project: Day 100-100 Blooms
In honor of day 100 of my 365 day project, I was looking for 100 of something. One of our trees in the front yard is in full bloom and is beautiful so 100 blooms it is! I love spring!

365 Project: Day 99-Don't forget the water
Oops, that's what happening when you try to make hard boiled eggs and forget to put water in the pan. And they really stink too!
365 Project: Day 98-First Soccer Game
Tate had his first outdoor soccer game today! He did really well! Despite the crazy winds that would blow your chair over everytime you stood up, it was a beautiful 93 degree day at the soccer fields!
365 Project: Day 97-My Office
As I was working on the computer at my desk, Maren had to get her computer and set up her own "office":)

365 Project: Day 96-Easter Cuties
A photographer in town has one day each month that she schedules appointments in 10 min intervals and she takes pictures on a themed set. This month's theme was Easter. It was the first time we had done this and it was cute. The set was cute and the pictures turned out pretty good. After you take your pictures you wait until they upload them, then you can view and order them. This is the kids waiting in the lobby to view the pictures then she emails you small images of them so you can use them in your blog:)
365 Project: Day 94-Spoiled Rotten
We're all ready for bed and it's nice to know we have good protection right next to us:) Bella cracks us up, she loves to go to bed around 8, doesn't get up until the morning, is so content to sleep next to us and, as soon as Jason moves 1 muscle in the morning, she is all over him for her morning walk....and she won't leave him alone until he gets up. Sorry, no sleeping in for you! Spoiled rotten!

365 Project: Day 93-Go Butler!
Poor guy was so excited to be able to stay up to watch Butler play in the National Championship basketball game that he fell asleep! Good think he didn't miss much!
365 Project: Day 92-Stearman Field
There is a little airport (or I should say landing strip) north of town and it has a restaurant at the end of it where you can watch the little airplanes come and go. We went to lunch with some friends there and it was the windiest day ever. No planes flying that day. It was a good lunch and we'll have to go back again to see the planes. This KS wind is a killer!

365 Project: Day 91-Death by Chocolate
The children's museum, the Exploration Place, was having a fundraiser on Sat night, Death by Chocolate. Walgreens was a sponsor and in charge of taking pictures there. Since it was Walgreens, we got on the list to get in and didn't even have to work! Very exciting! They had booths after booths of fancy chocolate and, of course, we had to try it all. They had a caricature artist, magic show, fashion show, wine ring toss, buffets and open bars and lots and lots of chocolate and even milk shots, in case you were overloaded with sweets! Can't get much better than that! We had a great time, ate way too much and came home with a goodie plate:) Can't wait until next year!
365 Project: Day 90-The Superdome Pizza
It was a beautiful Friday night and the neighbors have decided that on beautiful Friday nights, everyone should hang out outside with wine, let the kids play and enjoy the night. So that is what we did. We were outside for about 5 hours and, needless to say, noone had had any dinner so they ordered this gigantic pizza called the Superdome. Super was what is was! It barely fit into the back of this Jeep! It fed 10 adults and about 15 kids. What a deal!

365 Project: Day 88-PF Chang's Horse
Maren usually doesn't go to school on Wednesdays but today was picture day so she went, all dressed up, for a half a day. Afterwards, we met Jason for lunch at PF Chang's. She loved the huge horse in front of the restaurant and wanted her picture taken by it. She also loved her outfit and thought she was pretty all day long. It's fun to dress up during the week:)
365 Project: Day 87-Angry Birds
This silly and addicting game on the iPhone is a total time waster but fun to play after a long day at work and you don't want to do anything else and that's just what I did!
365 Project: Day 86-Horned Lizard
Tate's 1st grade project was to do a diorama on an animal they were studying. His was a horned lizard. He made his lizard out of model magic clay and he loved it. He did a great job!

365 Project: Day 85-Headed Home
We left for our long drive home early in the morning. It had been snowing all night and the roads were pretty icy. They ended up getting 22 inches of snow over the next 2 days! The snow followed us pretty much the whole way home. After our cold vacation, I'm now ready for spring!
365 Project: Day 84-Friends
We took a sleigh ride out to a tent in the woods for smores' and hot chocolate. We then got a great group photo with the horses (you can barely see them) in the background. The Clarks (Jill, Nathan, Chloe and Spencer), the LaBerges (Greg, Meredith and Noah minus Alex), the Whites (Joe, Amy, Julia and Aiden), Dad and the Matloffs-Mere and Greg's friends from grad school (Susan, Steve, Isabelle and Daniel). What a great group of friends!
365 Project: Day 83-Ski School
All the kids lined up with their instructors at the end of their 2nd day of ski school. They all did so well! We were getting ready to take them up the chair lift so they could ski down a green run to our house. We couldn't believe what progress they had made. Remember, pizza (stop) and french fries (go).

365 Project: Day 82-Let the Skiing begin
The Whites and us on top of the mountain! We hadn't been skiing in 7 years and it comes back like riding a bike. What a great time!
365 Project: Day 81-Hello Mountains!
Hello Mountains! We arrived in Copper Mountain, CO and this is the view from the balcony of our beautiful ski in, ski out house. What a gorgeous place!
365 Project: Day 80-West Kansas
We started our drive around noon for our CO vacation which put us in the middle of nowhere KS at sunset. Seeing that there is nothing to block the view, we got a wonderful picture of the sunset. We also saw a sign to see an 8000 lb prairie dog, a 6 legged steer and a 60 car train from the engine to caboose. It's so flat that, once again, there is nothing to block the view of a whole train. I rode with my camera in my lap taking in all the crazy sights west KS had to offer.
